Mondays might not be the most popular time to hold a wedding ceremony, but for YouTuber PewDiePie, it was the perfect day of the week.
PewDiePie, otherwise known as Felix Kjellberg, married his longtime girlfriend and fellow YouTube vlogger Marzia Bisognin during an intimate garden ceremony in London yesterday.
In an Instagram post, Bisognin revealed that their wedding date actually coincided with the first day they met eight years ago, making Monday the best day to tie the knot. "Yesterday, the 19th of August-after exactly 8 years since we met-we celebrated our wedding with our closest friends and family," she captioned the series of photos. "It was the most beautiful day, which I will treasure forever. I am so thankful for all the people that made time to attend the event and helped us celebrate our marriage. I feel like I'm the luckiest person and I'm so full of love. Incredibly ecstatic to be able to call Felix my husband for the rest of our lives."
For the nuptials, the bride wore a long sleeve gown with a lace bodice and tulle skirt while the groom opted for an all-black ensemble. Kjellberg also turned to Instagram to share more snaps of the newlyweds, writing, "We are married!!! I'm the happiest I can be ♥️ I'm so lucky to share my life with this amazing woman."
The Swedish gamer, who has over 99 million subscribers on YouTube, proposed to Bisognin while on vacation in Japan in April 2018. Cheers to the newlyweds and thank you for giving us a great reason to say "I do" on a Monday afternoon!
